INTRODUCTION:

Refuting the Flat Earth Nonsense

FLAT EARTH? REALLY

It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

"Flat Earthers try to associate themselves with Christianity and try their hardest to infiltrate mainline Christianity. The Bible is clear that the devil is the father of all lies. So by pursuing this lie, which is more important to them than spreading the gospel, they are witting or unwitting servants of Satan. The devil's plan is to build on the general view by many in the educated world that Christianity is mythical, unscientific, and for those people who are mentally weak and lacking sound common sense. So if the devil can get people who call themselves Christians to keep lies like the Flat Earth teaching in the public and discredit the Bible, all the more reason for non Christians to not get saved. And the devil is laughing as his servants help people go to hell. And if the person is a deceived Christian, he may be a better tool in the devil's hands than a non-Christian"

In the last few years, the Church has been rocked by a heresy so far fetched, so illogical, so rabid even, that it comes close to the anti-Christ conspiracy to deceive the entire world, only it is not getting as much traction as that will. It seems, for now, to be based upon two a priori arguments, namely:

1. That the history of the ancient world as well as the last 2,000 years shows quite clearly and succinctly that scientists and Christians believed in a a flat earth.
2. The empty claim that the Church always believed this, and that only recently was this rejected fo a globe earth
4. A claim of a massive, worldwide, (apparently unanimous) conspiracy to hide the flat earth shape from the world, deceiving 7,000,000,000 people, on the order of the book of Revelation's anti-Christ conspiracy, by N.A.S.A. and all other country space agencies, together, in unison, for a long time.

The fact is that this "modern" movement (the really only one in Christianity) started in the 19th century, not to mention the fact that the verses "used" (misused) were never "used" (misused) until that time by people in the church, either. The usage of these verses, taken completely out of context and misinterpreted to fit a pet doctrine, were done primarily by the skeptics, agnostics and atheists to disprove the Scriptures-not confirm them- the last people anyone wants to see argue any biblical doctrine! Calculations by great men showed that the earth was a globe and not flat, and this was repeated by various experiments throughout recorded history. The ancient Greeks and others used math, trigonometry and geometry, coupled with measuring instruments in various, repeated tests which any one of us can easily and simply do today, to prove that the earth is a globe and not flat.

(Luke 17:34-36)
I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

In these verses, Jesus Himself speaks here of a spherical earth, where it is night time and dark in one place, while it is the daylight, with people working, in another area of that same exact earth.

THE "EVIDENCE"

1. Visions, God speaking to them, and reliance on extra-biblical sources, ie. "the book of Enoch" (and giving it much weight, never afforded it by the translators), and "the original Hebrew" and "the original Greek"
2. "The church" has hidden the "fact" that the church has, from early days in her history, and herself believed in a flat earth, it is just that it was denied, conspired against by too many in order to deceive, even though the fact is that The Flat Earth Society was revived in 2004 by an atheist named Daniel Shenton and others
3. "Gravity does not exist, it is density that makes things fall!"
4. All space travel and moon landings have been faked, as well as all photos of earth, the moon and any other spherical body in space, plus all videos of anything in space,
5. We never landed on the moon, as this was a conspiracy to get billions of dollars for a space program
6. There is no "Antarctica", but rather Antarctica is really an ice wall surrounding the edge of the flat earth, manned 24/7/365 by powerful military people, no one can visit close to see this wall, and few have ever tried, and any that get too close were again murdered and somehow it was all hushed up (conspiracy again), and this obviously has been the case for six thousand years, that military of unknown origin, never filmed, never approached, has apparently been there. Apparently this security team has been there non-stop for 6,000 years straight, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
7. Lastly, the use of foreign, dead languages like Hebrew and Greek, no longer the same, being replaced in Hebrew with modern Hebrew and Yiddish, Koine Greek no longer being spoken in Greece and having been replaced by Classical Greek. As with all heresy, those who hold to it do not like the definition of the words that refute their theory in English so, desperately seeking something to bolster their position, they grasp. They must resort to these foreign, dead languages which no one today speaks to get "clarity" on the words like "circle" and others. Why? The English Bible refutes their pet doctrine of a flat earth, and they will not acknowledge it!
8. "Christians are gullible and believe N.A.S.A. wholesale and outright, and are very deceived by these people who are mostly if not all evolutionists!"
9. The word "planet" does not appear in Scripture...not kidding, this is used as evidence of a flat earth (Except being named after the Greek Gods Mars (Acts 17:22), Jupiter (Acts 14:12) and Mercury (Acts 14:12). Yep.)

   And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

   OOOPS!!!

10. The Christians and the world have always had many people who believed in a flat earth
11. The entire group of astronauts, pilots, map and globe makers, navigators, seamen, scientists, governments, every soldier in every army of all nations, every explorer and traveler and all others involved in seeing the shape of the earth are conspiring to hide the idea that the earth is flat on top, perhaps filled like a bowl of dirt, or like a disk.

SOME DEFINITIONS

SCIENCE

1. In a general sense, knowledge, or certain knowledge; the comprehension or understanding of truth or facts by the mind. The science of God must be perfect.
2. In philosophy, a collection of the general principles or leading truths relating to any subject. Pure science, as the mathematics, is built on self-evident truths; but the term science is also applied to other subjects founded on generally acknowledged truths, as metaphysics; or on experiment and observation, as chimistry and natural philosophy; or even to an assemblage of the general principles of an art, as the science of agriculture; the science of navigation. Arts relate to practice, as painting and sculpture.
   A principle in science is a rule in art.
3. Art derived from precepts or built on principles. Science perfects genius.
4. Any art or species of knowledge.
   No science doth make known the first principles on which it buildeth.
5. One of the seven liberal branches of knowledge, viz grammar, logic, rhetoric, arithmetic, geometry, astronomy and music. [Note - Authors have not always been careful to use the terms art and science with due discrimination and precision. Music is an art as well as a science. In general, an art is that which depends on practice or performance, and science that which depends on abstract or speculative principles. The theory of music is a science; the practice of it an art.]

Science is not theories, conspiracy theories, postulates, guesses, estimations and the like. Can scientists do these? Yes, to then use real science. And historical science is used to study history, which is also unrepeatable. Science is practiced by discovering what is really happening using our five senses of taste, smell, sight, touch and hearing. It is something anyone with senses can do. You practice science seeing if you like a new food at a new restaurant, by first smelling the aroma and then tasting it. The presentation of the food, the beauty of the scene is what we use our sight for. The atmosphere can be tested and listening and the comfort of the table, seating, floors utensils, plates, glasses can be tested with the sense of touch

Real science is F.O.R.T. science, for empirical data on any theory:

• TAXONOMISTS STILL, TO THIS DAY, ARGUE ABOUT THE CLASSIFICATION OF SPECIES AND GENUS.
• PHYSICISTS STILL DISAGREE ABOUT THE NUMBER OF PARTICLES THAT EXIST.
• EMBRYOLOGISTS STILL DISAGREE ON THE IDEA OF "ONTOGENY RECAPITULATES PHYLOGENY".

AND ON AND ON IT GOES....

XI. HOW IS FLAT EARTH "SCIENCE" REALLY PRACTICED?

1. Come up with a theory, ie. make the claim that the earth is flat
2. "Check" the facts with the use of FE web sites, or FE-only Youtube videos
3. Find consolation from your newly found "facts"
4. Return to step 1 and proceed.

First off, any verse that a FE uses must not say the word "world", which means the systems of government etc. of mankind, but rather the actual word "earth", speaking of a real object. Now we need to define the terms misused by FEers to "prove' a flat earth.

EARTH VS. WORLD

   In two hundred years, (I speak within compass,) no such commission had been executed. This sense is the same as the first, and the peculiar force of the phrase lies in the word within.

An instrument for directing or ascertaining the course of ships at sea, consisting of a circular box, containing a paper card marked with the thirty two points of direction, fixed on a magnetic needle, that always points to the north, the variation excepted. The needle with the card turns on a pin in the center of the box. The box is covered with glass, to prevent the motion of the card from being disturbed by the wind.

So, for each usage of "compass" in Scripture, every one used as a verb signifies circular motion around some object such as a person, an army, city, etc.

CIRCLE

1. In geometry, a plane figure comprehended by a single curve line, called its circumference, every part of which is equally distant from a point called the center. Of course all lines drawn from the center to the circumference or periphery, are equal to each other.
2. In popular use, the line that comprehends the figure, the plane or surface comprehended, and the whole body or solid matter of a round substance, are denominated a circle; a ring; an orb; the earth.
3. Compass; circuit; as the circle of the forest.
4. An assembly surrounding the principal person. Hence, any company, or assembly; as a circle of friends, or of beauties. Hence the word came to signify indefinitely a number of persons of a particular character, whether associated or not; as a political circle; the circle of ones acquaintance; having however reference to a primary association.
5. A series ending where it begins, and perpetually repeated; a going round. Thus in a circle runs the peasants pain.
6. Circumlocution; indirect form of words.
7. In logic, an inconclusive form of argument, when the same terms are proved in orbem by the same terms, and the parts of the syllogism alternately by each other, directly and indirectly; or when the foregoing proposition is proved by the following, and the following is inferred from the foregoing; as, that heavy bodies descend by gravity, and that gravity is a quality by which a heavy body descends.
8. Circles of the sphere, are such as cut the mundane sphere, and have their periphery either on its movable surface, as the meridians; or in another immovable, conterminous and equidistant surface, as the ecliptic, equator, and its parallels.

13. Circle of perpetual occultation, another lesser circle at a like distance from the equator, which includes all the stars which never appear in our hemisphere.
14. Diurnal circles, are immovable circles supposed to be described by the several stars and other points in the heavens, in their diurnal rotation round the earth, or rather in the rotation of the earth round its axis.
15. Horary circles, in dialing, are the lines which show the hours on dials.
16. Circles of the empire, the provinces or principalities of the German empire, which have a right to be present at the diets. Maximilian I. divided the empire into six circles at first, and afterwards into ten; Austria, Burgundy, Lower Rhine, Bavaria, Upper Saxony, Franconia, Swabia, Upper Rhine, Westphalia, and Lower Saxony.
17. Druidical circles, in British Topography, are certain ancient inclosures formed by rude stones circularly arranged; as Stone-henge near Salisbury.

3. To circle in, to confine; to keep together.

HORIZON

CIRCUIT

1. The act of moving or passing round; as the periodical circuit of the earth round the sun, or of the moon round the earth.
2. The space inclosed in a circle, or within certain limits.
3. Any space or extent measured by traveling round.
4. That which encircles; a ring; a diadem.
5. In England, the journey of judges through several counties or boroughs, for the purpose of holding courts. In the United States, the journey of judges through certain states or counties for the same purpose.
6. The counties or states in which the same judge or judges hold courts and administer justice. It is common to designate a certain number of counties to form a circuit, and to assign one or more judges to each circuit. The courts in the circuits are called circuit courts. In the government of the United States, a certain number of states form a circuit.
7. A long deduction of reason.
8. In law, a longer course of proceedings than is necessary to recover the thing sued for. Bailey gives this as the definition of circuity.

A PROBLEM

• There is only one, single, solitary shape which is always a circle, no matter what angle, what side one views it on, and that is a ball shape.
• A flat disk is only round when viewed from directly above, at center or directly below, at center
• If you hit the ten ball, the striped ball on a pool table with either side English on it, propelling it forward, as it moves it is always a circle shape. It is the only shape that is a circle from every angle and distance. A disk viewed even slightly off center is not a circle and, from the side is literally a rectangularly shaped object

1. The basis of an edifice; that part of a building which lies on the ground; usually a wall of stone which supports the edifice.
2. The act of fixing the basis.
3. The basis or ground work, or any thing; that on which any thing stands, and by which it is supported. A free government has its foundation in the choice and consent of the people to be governed. Christ is the foundation of the church. Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone - a precious cornerstone. Isa 28. Other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 3.
4. Original; rise; as the foundation of the world.
5. Endowment; a donation or legacy appropriated to support an institution, and constituting a permanent fund, usually for a charitable purpose.
6. Establishment; settlement.

SOME VERSES USED (MISUSED) TO "PROVE" A FLAT EARTH

One of the hallmarks of intense error is the misuse of Scripture in a desperate attempt to "establish" a false doctrine. Not one single verse of Scripture even implies that the earth is a flat disk, but that never stops heretics. If you notice in these verses taken from a FE web site, not a one of them even implies it, and many simply say zero about the shape of the earth. When you do not have a verse, misuse one.

THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FROM SCRIPTURE

The nation was sent to the edge of the disk, and yet no one stopped them, and they never recorded anything about it. Amazing. No mention of a flat earth.

1. God is very great, clothed in honour and majesty,
2. God is light. No surprise there. No mention of a flat earth.
3. God stretched out (and, if taken literally, is still stretching out the heavens. No mention of a flat earth.
4. Jesus rides upon the clouds in Revelation, so? No mention of a flat earth.
5. Does the wind literally have wind? Or is this angels, birds? No mention of a flat earth.

As was said earlier, the compass can refer to several things, not one of which can be a flat, disk shape of the earth, as we know there is on a compass a north, south, east and west due to the magnetic field, which is why compasses work in the first place and how navigation with birds, animals and transportation even works at all, and that most accurately. By the way, there is no north, south, east and west on a flat earth! And wherever you are, the immensity of the earth compared to you and your miniscule size make it seem flatter than any face. No mention of a flat shaped earth in this verse

COMPASS, v.t.

4. To besiege; to beleaguer; to block up. This is not a different sense, but a particular application.
   Thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side. Luke 19.
5. To obtain; to attain to; to procure; to bring within ones power; to accomplish.
   If I can check my erring love, I will; If not, to compass her Ill use my skill.
   How can you hope to compass your designs?
6. To purpose; to intend; to imagine; to plot; to contrive; as we say, to go about to perform, but in mind only; as, to compass the death of the king.
   Compassing and imaging the death of the king are synonymous terms; compass signifying the purpose or design of the mind or will, and not, as in common speech, the carrying such design to effect.

THE SCRIPTURES SUPPORT A GLOBAL EARTH, ONLY

IT LOOKS FLAT!

Let's do this with something small, even if we have to approximate a little. A mile has 63,660 inches. An ant an inch long is 1 : 63,660 inches. If you were the size of that ant, on a flat surface that big, would the earth have a curvature? How about if we slightly curved that mile like the earth, not even a small earth to scale, but rather just like the curvature of the earth.

• The ancient pagan Hindus believed in it. The disk earth was on the back of elephants! Great to associate yourself as a Christian with!

Conspiracy Theories Exposed, Lives Lost, Documented, Known

• When the raw, actual data does not match the flat earth conspiracy idea, it is immediately claimed that it is all fake-all of it. All of it for decades and even centuries. All fake. This has nothing to do with any truth, proof, evidence, or facts, but rather borne out of necessity, because the theory of a flat earth falls apart upon any surface or in-depth examination
• ALL PHOTOS have to be adjusted by ANY photographer and it is very rare, always has been, to adjust photos in order to fix what the camera film or digital processor cannot do, as it is not a human eye. All photographers do this, including me, have always done it, with pictures of families, flowers, animals, scenery, sporting events, stills, famous people or anything else. Adjustments are nearly 100% of the time necessary and show no conspiracy, just people doing their job, and NASA or JPL would be no exceptions to that. If we as photographers were conspiring to deceive, we would never admit it
• The U.S.A is in no way the only country that enters space and takes images, still or video, of the earth. Yet not one agency in any country has come out and said that they were deceiving people, apologized, and said that the earth was indeed flat.
• If you look live at a N.A.S.A. satellite video feed, you can then look straight up at the clouds and see if the shapes and positions match, easily verifiable (or easily debunked if false)
• The "Conspiracy to hide the flat earth" would have to be the largest conspiracy to hide the truth ever devised, going back decades, centuries and even millennia, including so many people, not one of which came out and exposed it, that it would dwarf the conspiracy of the anti-Christ in Revelation!
• Not one iota of proof has ever been offered to show this conspiracy by anyone-ever. No one has done secret interviews with anyone who works for N.A.S.A or any other country's space agency, admitting they are conspiring to deceive, even one time.
• There is no motive to show the earth is a globe by anyone, and this view is started and held by evolutionist who already deny science greatly, just with that belief alone.
• Former members of the Clinton Administration and those of the Clinton gubernatorial regime in Arkansas from women, to associated in ADFA (the Arkansas Development Finance Authority, bimbo eruptions, white house staffers, secret service agents, known, lifelong, close associates; state department officials, FBI agents, state troopers in Arkansas, Little Rock police officers, people from Whitewater, witnesses to the activities in Mena, Arkansas (boys); Andrew Breitbart, other journalists (at least six), a former United Nations General Assembly president, attorneys for people attempting to expose them against them, Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster, the highest ranking person in the White House other than President Kennedy, an Admiral in the Navy, Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, numerous witnesses against them, a retired director of the CIA William Colby, ladies sexually connected to both Bill and Hillary, several Haitians, including one official about to expose the Clinton Foundation, several bodyguards in Arkansas and Washington, several marine pilots, several fund raisers for them, a Penthouse model, a Clinton interpreter for the deaf, an NBC cameraman, several lawyers (including one or more for them), many investigators into these deaths, and investigator into the Waco compound massacre, a billionaire pharmaceutical executive and his wife about to expose the Clinton Foundation, DNC voter expansion data director Seth Rich, a DNC political director, a White House Chef, a drug pilot/courier, a Supreme Court Justice Anton Scalia, looking into arresting Hillary, an M16 agent, and on and on it goes. Hundreds, maybe even thousands came out and were published, before and after the advent of the Internet. Many also knew that previous squealers were dead and came out anyways! In fact, it is physically impossible for not a single one of them to have not known of even one the previous deaths, and the odds are calculated as one to the four hundredth power (1 X 2 X 3 up to four hundred deaths) and that number is one in

Not one can produce an accurate set of lenses or measuring devices to show how flat the earth is, and this goes back to even early experiments before hight technology, even well before government space agencies worldwide, for thousands of years!

The Nonsense

1. In fact, every view from above the earth from far away would be a circle, from 100% of the angles, no exceptions

When the eclipse happens around midnight, the immense size of the earth versus the moon's much smaller size makes it appear as a vertical line as it passes by. This is because they think that the earth is flat and laying flat only, not upright, so they cannot, nor even attempt to explain the vertical shadow cast on the moon by the earth during a lunar eclipse.
8. When flat-earthers see the vertical line pass through the moon during an eclipse, they say, "The earth is flat, and on its side!", because they know that nothing would ever fall right off, because there is no gravity, only density! Yet these same people say that the earth being that a sphere cannot explain the waters of the earth and the people and anything not tied down falling off into oblivion because they are upside down below the equator, even though the force of gravity holds it all there.
9. The moon's phases are also proof of a global earth. At any given part of the moon’s cycle, all people on earth see the same phase, and the moon is almost always about the same size, with exceptions. This is impossible physically with a flat earth, because someone looking at the moon on one side would see a different view than someone looking at it from the other end of the earth.

15. The claim is made that Christopher Columbus thought that the earth was flat when he went on his voyage east to find Asia. This is blatantly false and stems from a lack of knowledge about history. Even the Discovery Channel proved this in this experiment recorded on video that you can do yourself, even without a helicopter.

That is, during an eclipse of the moon by the earth, a person with a telescope can actually watch the shadow creep across the moon’s surface and someone on the other side of the earth can then pick up watching the shadow creep when the moon drops below the horizon of the first person. There are human eyeballs all over this globe of ours, and the progress of the moon (and sun) represents a continuum.

37. If the sun were orbiting overhead and above the earth, then how ON EARTH could the earth ever get in between them to cast a shadow on the moon in the first place?
38. The moon has different sides and views from the two hemispheres of the globe, southern and northern, impossible from a disk or flat plane.



39. If you go east continuously and do not stop in a straight line, you will end up at your starting point-this has been done numerous times in history, not possible on a flat earth

THE FOUCAULT PENDULUM PROBLEM

1. A Foucault pendulum rotates in one direction at the geographic north pole, and in the opposite direction at the geographic south pole. Impossible with a flat earth

The ground waves will always arrive much sooner than the surface ones, because they go through the earth, not over a round, longer distance. Both are recorded from great distances and can be used to show magnitudes of earthquakes. Proven every earthquake for decades. If it were flat, both would arrive at the same time. This information was known by seismologists long before NASA was even invented

The primary (p) waves arrive first and are pressure waves, longitudinal waves, basically sound. The secondary waves are shear or transverse waves. The p-waves can travel through both solids and liquids, but the s-waves can't go through liquid, as in the liquid core of the earth. Seismologists discovered that there was what they named a “shadow zone” for the s-waves—a place where we can’t detect any waves passing through from a seismometer over about 104° from the earthquake. They realized that deep inside the earth, there must be a liquid core about 2,890 km deep. And because the earth is a sphere, the core must also be a sphere of smaller radius (3,480 km) than the earth. This is all over the earth, allowing them to shape it using these waves. It is also a ball, a liquid ball-shaped core. So the earthquake "shadow zone" can’t be explained on a flat earth, nor can it even exist, even one with a deep liquid layer deep down. And this shadow zone exists at a certain surface distance from the earthquake (about 12,000 km or 7,200 miles) in all directions, no matter where the earthquake occurs. This means the earth has a uniform shape with no edges, i.e. a sphere, with a liquid sphere as a core. This is 100% fatal to flat earth ideas.
7. When you fly in a plane at 600 mph, the sun can be "caught up to, as in you can leave the dark and then see the sunrise as you catch up to it. The reverse is true with flying away from it-the fastest sunset you will ever experience on earth is currently in a commercial airliner
8. You can place sticks into the ground, the same height, a mile apart and measure the shadow angle. The farther away it is from the sun, the more angular it is, and you can photograph it. You can do this for all of the sticks and get a different angle for each one. Eratosthenes did this centuries ago, and it still holds, the flat earth would not produce these results.

If you take the glued on map off of a globe and try to flatten it to represent the earth, basic, simple logic and knowledge that ten year old would have of geometry dictates that it can never be the same. 15. The atmospheric disturbances during the sunset also makes the sun appear to accelerate, which would obviously be seen by others further west, and reported. The sun does not suddenly "take off running", it is an eye illusion due to hear distortions. Water distorts sizes and positions as well as air, easily shown by a spoon in a half glass of water.
16. Water always goes via gravity towards the center of the earth, so the oceans are held there, and using a small bowl of water is not proper to even begin to demonstrate this at all. But, even in a small dish or on a flat counter top as a puddle, , the edges of the water curl downward towards the center of the earth ,like the oceans do.

    1. How would gravity work if the earth were flat and you did not deny that basic LAW of physics?

    Gravity, or Gravitational Force, is the actual only force denied to exist by FEers (weird, hunh?), and is defined as:

By definition, this is the weight of the object. All objects upon earth experience a force of gravity that is directed "downward" towards the center of the earth. The force of gravity on earth is always equal to the weight of the object as found by the equation: Fgrav = m * g where g = 9.8 N/kg (on Earth) and m = mass (in kg)

    1. In fact, if the earth were flat, all gravity would decrease as one moved away from the center of that "disk". That is, of course, if the FEers did not deny gravity exists. In fact, the density of an object has zero to do with the force applied to it by the body causing it to fall due to gravity. This has easily be shown in a vacuum. See below.

    2. A feather and a bowling ball, in a vacuum, will fall at the exact same fast rate of speed, because there is no air slowing down the feather. If you reject this idea, did you or any other FEer you know, by name, visit the vacuum chamber, ask to remain inside while the air was pumped out to test gravity in a vacuum, and found that it was all a lie and that you were never in a vacuum, the feather and bowling ball falling at the same rate was a hoax? You or that person, by name, please! Who was it?

       Galileo did this experiment, supposedly dropping two spheres of different masses from the leaning tower of Pisa and found that the heavier, more massive object fell at the same rate to the ground as the lighter, less massive one, and not faster. Today we can and have done this in a vacuum with a feather and a bowling ball, proving that the gravity acts in the same manner with the same force when wind resistance is removed, something from real F.O.R.T. science that FEers actually deny, will not do for themselves

    You can easily and inexpensively make your own vacuum chamber and test this with a mini drone. Simply pace it inside, make it hover and evacuate the air. You will see its rotors spinning, but eventually the drone will stop hovering and sink to the floor, never to rise until the air re-enters the chamber.
    3. The above calculation is per second, per second acceleration, not per second. If, as the flat earthers say, the earth is moving upward (not downward, like gravity) at the rate of 9.9 meters per second per second, in a year it would travel at the speed of light.

    6. You can, through live tracking, directly see the International Space Station via the web site 24/7/365 and, when it says it is directly overhead of your position, look right at it

    8. The claim that gravity is caused by electromagnetism is pure hogwash, because again objects in a vacuum would NOT fall at the same rate if they were different materials and densities. Funny how they do, hunh? All of your electronics would be affected by it as well, shown by passing a magnet in front of a computer monitor or TV.
    9. Another claim made is that, if airliners are flying the curvature of the earth, how come they just do not fly right out into space? Kind of a weird, silly, inane analogy, but that plane is held, like all of us, by gravity to its altitude, with engines, computers, ailerons, flaps, wings, etc. using Bernoulli's principle. It can certainly fall down if the engines fail!
    10. One can make (and I have many times made) an electromagnet and test all of this for themselves easily enough.
    11. Birds can fly, but once they stop flapping, they fall to earth. You cannot turn off the jets or propellers on planes and stay up forever, even with gliders. Enough said, "What goes up MUST come down"
    12. The sun and moon travel in straight lines from east to west overhead, not in a circular pattern around us and away. Impossible if the earth was flat and the sun and moon traveled around a disk.
    13. Airliners and all large planes, medium planes and any aircraft that travels a great distance travel in an arc to save fuel, something completely unnecessary if the earth was flat. What conspiracy is there in wasting fuel and money and profits for investors for ANY airline? The distance point A to point B would be a straight line, but it is not on a ball shaped object, the shortest distance is an arc, not a straight line, which is what they fly in
    14. That arc is, from geometry, a straight line when seen from above, arched or not
    15. Planes DO FLY OVER THE ANTARCTIC, it is just they need to be large with extra fuel to make that immense distance
    16. "The Nile flows north, thus disproving gravity". Rivers can flow north or south, as long as there is a slope to the sea. North is not upward and south is not downward!
    17. Seventy countries travel in space, and exploration is common. No indication of any faked "moon landings" from all of them. One would by now have come forward...even all of our enemies. One of those countries is North Korea, who has zero motive to back up the claims of the Americans and Europeans. Our enemies try desperately for centuries, daily, to prove that our government is lying about wars, the economy, our military prowess, intelligence, our health, our security, but somehow do not spend dime or one moment showing that we are lying about a flat earth! If you believe that, I have some swamp land in Florida to sell you.
    18. In addition, over twenty companies send rockets and satellites into space, so any skeptic can raise money and do their own test on satellites

    1. The first image above shows the distance on a map between Olcott, NY and Toronto Canada, where the tower is on a map. The second is a photo including the base of a tower and surrounding buildings, clearly seen. The third photo is from Olcott NY, 39 miles away across Lake Ontario. This photo shows that it is impossible to see the base of the tower or even a short way up from that base, and any low buildings nearby, which would be visible if the earth were flat and there was no 22 mile curvature
    2. You can do this experiment for yourself. Anyone can, and not just at these two locations. There are plenty of large bays around the U.S. and the world..
    3. The size of the sun stays the same at sunrise, midday and sunset, because it is at a great distance from the earth.

Sailors from the northern hemisphere, thousands of years ago, as well as today, cross the equator and report that, in the South, the sun shone/shines from the north. sailors also knew and know how to measure their latitude from the angle of the sun at noon, which works only with a earth in the shape of a ball, a sphere, and fails completely with a flat earth
    9. The "Flat Earth Society" is headed currently by Daniel Shenton, an evolutionist and "manmade climate change" endorser, hardly someone who believes God's Word
    10. On the Arctic Circle, the midnight sun is visible only briefly on the summer solstice. On the Antarctic Circle, it is the same. Impossible with a flat earth
    11. The fact that we cannot see the curvature of the earth while on it, even looking into the distance, is because the earth is so large. If it were small enough to see that curvature, it would be so small that we could not live on it from every known law of physics, chemistry, biology, etc.
    12. How does one get satellite TV if they are no that far up in space, but close to the earth like a plane, or do not exist and are fake?? Why would we even need satellites when tall towers would do across a flat earth?

    THE CLAIMS: INANE AND REFUTED

    • CLAIM: The solar system in images is never to scale. No kidding! Fact, you cannot do it, because of the size of a piece of paper, or a computer screen, the ability of your eyes to see a tiny, invisible dot if you have the sun as a large ball. Not to mention the distance in miles. To expect anything else is foolish
    • CLAIM: The images they show you of the solar system are in CGI, so it is obvious that they are trying to deceive us. FACT: 100% of ALL IMAGES you see on a computer or the internet are CGI (computer generated imagery), because they are digital and have to be adjusted, no exceptions! This includes any type of subject in any type of photo. All of my photos have to be looked at and adjusted to make sure that the parts in the shadow which I was trying to capture were really captured. If not I have to brighten the image. Everyone who takes photos has to do this if they want to display the subject correctly, especially portrait people, wedding photographers, wildlife photographers, landscape photographers, still photographers, etc. Even when it was film and not digital all people had to do this in the dark room! It is the rare photo that I take that is not adjusted, meaning I got it perfectly. No deception, just necessary to show what I wanted to show. Also, converting to infrared does not change the actual image to something deceptive, but merely shows particular wavelengths of light, invisible to the naked eye. Same photo, just in infrared. None of the photos which are taken are generated; they are adjusted. In fact, the entire premise proves beyond doubt the globular earth, precisely because we must make composites of the earth to get an image of the globe. Because it is a BALL!
    • CLAIM: The hot spots we see in the sky from a plane proves that the sun is lower and closer to earth than we are told FACT: A simple understanding of light would instantly reveal the ridiculous nature of this claim. "Hot spots" do not just appear by something being close. There is such a thing as reflected light which hits any camera, including mine, and distance is irrelevant. So this is simply ignorance or a blatant lie. A simple course in physics, photography or anything in regards to the study of how light works would reveal this as false. Light bulbs and vision help in this correction to a closed mind
    • CLAIM: The sun coming through the clouds in rays which diverge proves that the sun is right above the clouds, by tracing the rays back using trigonometry!Wow, such ignorance. Even a simple experiment with holes in cardboard and a lamp above it would correct this sort of "thinking"..........simple, basic physics. The idea in the minds of flat earthers show there is a bias so strong, they forget, do not know, or do not want to know how to think. Your choice. Try a sunny day and trace those rays. If one thinks that the sun is right there in the distance 100 miles away, then call someone who lives there and ask them where the sun is, to see if the sun is directly overhead. It will never be. in fact, the exact opposite effect happens when the sun is over the horizon, and the rays point backward to? A DARK SPOT!. So this idea 'explains' one circumstance, not all.
    • CLAIM: the temperature of the earth is too perfect, to be 93,000,000 miles away. To date, no one has ever said the idea that a million miles closer and we would burn up, or a million miles away and we would freeze. They think the "zone" is about a few hundred miles, not a few MILLION miles (it is), and the earth moves in and out a lot in its orbit
    • CLAIM: The sun is an orange ball and on a black background, so that is all fake, because when you go outside and look at the sun in the day the sky is not black, but blue. Do some photography. Study meteorology. Better yet, make sure that you NEVER stare directly at the sun without a filter because, give it a few seconds, and you will see that your eyesight is RUINED, your retina destroyed. ALL photos of the sun must have a filter on it because of its brightness, so no, this is not proof at all that it is close, just proof that people taking pictures of the sun need filters for the intense brightness, and proof that flat earthers do not do direct observations from science or think objectively before spewing wild theories. The sky is blue for a reason, because all other wavelengths are reflected by our atmosphere.........EXCEPT BLUE! OR RED! OR ORANGE! OR YELLOW! This has been known for centuries and can be proven in any field study and also in the lab.
    • CLAIM: Flying high up at 38,000 feet, the sun appears under the clouds, showing it is close to the earth Again WOW. No, the sun is at sunset or sunrise, and would APPEAR to be under the clouds, but in reality is below the new horizon of those clouds above the earth by many thousands of feet, one is flying above, due to the rotation of the earth at sundown and sunrise placing it there, daily. Simple, honest observations correct this, which anyone can do.
    • CLAIM: OUTER SPACE DOES NOT EXIST AND IS FAKED!
    • CLAIM: Photos taken at two different times of the earth show two different sized Americas. Nice try again. Try a fish eye lens was used in one and not in another. I can do that with my camera
    • CLAIM:The practice for space travel in nose dives of aircraft means that space travel can be faked.. Except for a few little problems.
    1. Nothing to "practice for" if they are not going to go into space
    2. There is no proof of fake space travel, only claims, and claims are not evidence
    3. When one actually is on space, they are actually falling to earth, at the same force that they are using centrifugal force to not fall to earth.

    The flat earth people have zero credibility, since so much of what is not faked by them, or imagined by them, or invented by them, is also simply an empty claim, taken for fact-just exactly like the evolutionists who hate God on purpose do. The depth, breadth, width and height of such a vast conspiracy, including the pilots, astronauts and scientists today and those who traveled the earth in the past for the last 6,000 years all keeping silent-NOT ONE OF THEM COMING FORWARD, would many times larger than the one the anti-Christ will pull off, and for what? To control what, exactly? And what would it gain them? The anti-Christ will gain complete control and deceive people into hell, but what would the enemy and enemies of God gain by promoting a flat earth? The ridicule of Christians. And, as stated earlier, it is making them look like buffoons, quite handily.
