WHY KJVO?

Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
-Psalm 12:7

  1. It is the only one that is a translation, all others are paraphrases
  2. God invented languages

    Genesis 11:6-7:
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
  3. God knows how to translate, and did so in Scripture-Moses spoke to Pharaoh, in Chaldean, and it was translated into Hebrew

    Genesis 12:18:
And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.

  4. Neither did Artaxerxes or Nebuchadnezzar
  5. If God inspired it and lost it, what does that say about our salvation? Can He lose you?
  6. God said He would preserve it forever perfectly and further said this would be a seven-times purification process, and so it was

    Psalms 12:6-7:
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
  7. It has ALWAYS been in books, and we will be judged by a book, not a scroll, a roll or a parchment, from Genesis to Revelation

    Genesis 5:1:
    This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

    Revelation of John 20:12:
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
  8. There have always, since the Garden, been two "words of God", the real and the close imposter ,and it has always bee doubted, unbelieved as writtten, questioned, challenged, edited by mankind, but never to be lost by God

    Genesis 3:1-5:
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

  9. This continues to today, as practiced by Zondervan, Thomas Nelson, all cults, most seminaries, most shepherds of sheep, et al.
  10. Only one was authorized by a King
  11. Only one was done by experts who knew the languages well
  12. Only one is not copyrighted, and never will be, as God commanded us to publish it, not merchandi$e it
  13. Greeks no longer speak Koine Greek nor do Jews speak Old Testament Hebrew
  14. You cannot get a copyright unless you alter the text a certain percent. Not "update", but alter, as in change!
  15. God does not have "versions", or "paraphrases" only Eve, the serpent and the Corinthians did

    II Corinthians 2:17:
For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

  16. The newer "versions" contain all sorts of errors, doctrinal, geographical, historical, cover to cover, not to mention blatant heresies
  17. God never really dealt much with "originals", only copies-of copies-of copies-of copies-of copies.

Shouldn't we value the original autographs above any mere translation?

To put it bluntly: If God wanted us to value the originals above any other form of the Bible, why did He allow them to disappear into the dust of history? In regards to a translation: if you believe that the original languages are to be valued above an English translation, it is your duty, as an obedient child of God, to learn those languages so that you may read God's word.

The following is from Sam Gipp's The Answer Book.

QUESTION 1: Shouldn't we be loyal to the "original autographs" and not a mere translation?

ANSWER: We should put as much value on the "originals" as God does.

EXPLANATION: It is impossible to be true to the originals because the originals have long been lost. This well established fact should be enough to make the sincere student of Scripture realize that an affirmative answer to the question is an impossibility.

But it does not explain the above answer. Just how much value does God put on the originals?

To get the answer we must explore seveal chapters in the book of Jeremiah beginning with the famous passage in chapter 36 concerning the roll that Jeremiah had written.

In verse 21 the roll is brought before King Jehoiakim and read by his servant Jehudi.

According to verse 23 Jehudi read three or four leaves and King Jehoiakim cut it up with a penknife and cast it into the fire on the hearth until it was destroyed.

    Thus ends ORIGINAL #1!

Then the Lord moved Jeremiah to rewrite the roll adding some words to it. (Jeremiah 36:32)

    Thus ORIGINAL #2 is born.

We are shown the text of this second original in Jeremiah 45- 51 where it reproduced for our benefit.

Jeremiah told Seraiah to read this roll when he came into Babylon (Jeremiah 51:59-61). Then Jeremiah instructed Seraiah, after he finished reading the roll, to bind a stone to it and cast it into the Euphrates river (Jeremiah 51:63)!

    Thus ends ORIGINAL #2!

But wait! We have a copy of the text of the roll in chapters 45-51. Where did it come from? It came from a copy of original #2 which we can only call ORIGINAL #3!

So there are two very big problems for those who overemphasize the "originals."

    (1) Every Bible ever printed with a copy of Jeremiah in it has a text in chapters 45-51 which is translated from a copy of the "second" original, or ORIGINAL #3.

    (2) Secondly, NO ONE can overlook the fact that God didn't have the least bit of interest in preserving the "original" once it had been copied and its message delivered. So WHY should we put more of an emphasis on the originals than God does? An emphasis which is plainly unscriptural.

Thus, since we have the text of the "originals" preserved in the King James Bible we have no need of the originals, even if they were available.

  18. The newer "versions" are made from completely different materials, often from Alexandria, Egypt-a place God told the Jews never to return to
  19. God's Word is either 100% Holy or it is evil, deceitful. It cannot be 99 44/100% pure, since that is not almost holy, or non holy. It is UNHOLY
  20. The Scriptures claim to be the Words of a Holy God, not the words of men
  21. English is the most spoken, globally, widespread, recognized language on earth today, worldwide, even though more people speak Chinese. Because? They live mostly in China.
  22. We were never called to be "textual critics", nor were the Levite Scribes who copied the Scriptures
  23. There are three "textual critics" in Scripture. Can you name them? How did it turn out for them?
  24. Mankind was warned in both Testaments never to alter it, add to or take away from it
  25. A person who does not believe in perfect Scriptures in the KJV can never say which other "Bible" is the perfect, inerrant, infallible words of the Living God they claim to believe in. They nearly always mention the original something-which they have never seen.
  26. Important and vital doctrines are changed, not just unimportant ones
  27. Yes, God can use them. God also used Balaam's ass. You can find pieces of lettuce in a pile of manure, but that does not make hay a good salad
  28. There is only one true God, but there are also many false gods. There is one true Body of Christ, one True Church, made of true born-again believers, yet there are many false churches. So why is it so wrong to teach that there is one true Bible, yet many false "bibles"?
  29. No one on earth who speaks of "the originals" has ever seen one
  30. Which GREEK are we talking about when we say "the Greek"? Antiochan or Alexandrian, Egyptian?
  31. There is no place in Scripture that says that the inventor/creator of languages cannot translate perfectly, that is a manmade concept only.
  32. The KJV is made from the MAJORITY text, worn out, ragged from use. The modern "versions" come from the minority, unused by God mss. This explains why they are in such good condition
  33. God is not the author of confusion, and multiple, conflicting "ver$ion$" lead to that. Look at the Laodicean church today
  34. 100 years ago, we argued over what it MEANT by what it SAID; now it is "WHAT IT IS!" How sad.
  35. Westcott and Hort were full blown, New Aged, occultic, satanic, pagan heretics
  36. We are told to live by every word out of the mouth of God, but somehow we "do not any longer have them. Alas, they are lost."
  37. It was translated into Modern English, not Middle English, not Olde English. If we do not understand it, that is our fault.
  38. Small children raised on it understand it, kids 100 years ago understand it, foreigners have no problems. It take 12 years of American schools to dumb down a person to not understand it
  39. WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT THAT!

    (1 Corinthians 2:14 [KJV])
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

    (John 16:13 [KJV])
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

    (Luke 8:10 [KJV])
And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

    (Philippians 4:13 [KJV])
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  40. Going to two dead languages to "understand" or "get clarity" which you do not know and speak and write and understand is a lot more silly than trying to understand something written in your own language, which has dictionaries for it and people to ask who do understand it
  41. There has never been even one single attempt to "update the archaic language of the KJV" as they claim needs to be done. Not one time.
  42. One Body, one Faith, one LORD, one God, one Spirit, one Church, one Baptism, 200 plus "versions"?
  43. Only the number ONE is the number of unity...all others are not
  44. Only one IS the Word of God; the rest are imposters which CONTAIN the Word of God
  45. Not one person ever died to bring us the "modern" "ver$ion$", during any "purification process"; many died to give us the KJV
  46. If one does due diligence, such as a side by side, verse by verse comparison, and does not walk away angry, they need to check their spiritual pulse. The MVs are dreadfully lacking and deeply corrupted
  47. God never said He would keep His "message", but every word, forever. If He did not, He failed us. He is not God.
  48. The Word of God is not what "we prefer", "we like", but it is what it is, despite us. We do not have to believe it.
  49. Oldest is not best....despite what we are told. Oldest is oldest, and unused. The best was worn out, used of God and man, and replaced.
  50. Every word matters
  51. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by that Word of God, not by spelling, punctuation, etc.
  52. Different words have different meanings.
  53. Entire verses are missing, not just words.
  54. Not until 1881 did anyone even question it, under Westcott and Hort, using inferior, minority mss, editing them to produce a false "bible" which fit their pet doctrines (occultic).
  55. God only spoke about scholars twice; and never in a good light.

Coincidence? 1 in 25,000,000 or even more are the odds thatthe King James is notthe Word of God for us in English, a truly global language, the seventh one used/translated into:

  1. Old Syriac
  2. Aramaic
  3. Hebrew
  4. Greek
  5. Old Latin
  6. Old German
  7. English
