Revelation Chapter 19
(Revelation 19:1-2)And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
- The world does not understand the righteousness of God, even including those in the church
- Destruction of evil is never pretty, but God is not God if His righteous judgments are not taken into consideration
- This woman is the cause of so many martyrs throughout history, until today
And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
- She will lie in waste in hell forever, smoldering
- This is the same fate as all of those who reject(ed) Jesus Christ
- Alleluia is the same in all languages on earth, and obviously the same in Heaven
And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
- Everyone is pleased with the destruction of the Great Whore
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
(Revelation 4:10)
The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
(Revelation 5:8)
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
(Revelation 5:14)
And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
(Revelation 11:6)
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
(Revelation 19:5)
And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
- God Himself wants our praise, and especially now when this act is finally completed
- This is obviously a very big thing, since few things in the Bible are lauded this much, so it is long in waiting for sure
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
(Revelation 4:5)
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
(Revelation 6:1)
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
(Revelation 19:7-9)
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
- This is the Church
- "It was granted" meaning we do not earn our righteousness, salvation
- We are truly blessed now, and will be forever, including on this day-no calories, delicious food, eat as much as you want!
And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
(2 Corinthians 11:2)
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
(Matthew 9:15)
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
(John 3:29)
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
(Revelation 19:10)
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
- Prophecy plays a major role in all of Scripture and always has
- Our Gospel is a fulfillment of prophecy, from Genesis 3 to the end
- Here also is a clear instruction not to worship angels
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
- The last white horse was one of the false (not true) peace which did not last (unfaithful)
- This is not unfaithful and untrue, but Faithful and True
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
(Revelation 19:12)
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
- This is obviously the same LORD Jesus Christ of the beginning of Revelation
- Those crowns were picked up and place on his head, after being cast before His throne
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
(Revelation 4:10)
The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
(Revelation 19:13)
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
VEST'URE, n. [See Vest.]
1. A garment; a robe.
There polish'd chests embroider'd vesture grac'd.
2. Dress; garments in general; habit; clothing; vestment; as the vesture of priests.
3. Clothing; covering.
Rocks, precipices and gulfs appareled with a vesture of plants.
- And gild the humble vestures of the plain.
4. In old law books, the corn with which land was covered; as the vesture of an acre.
5. In old books, seisin; possession. Obs.
(John 1:1)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(Revelation 19:14)
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
- This would be us, coming back with Him at the Second Coming
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
- The Living Word of God with the Written Word of God, by which all shall be judged, and it is their demise or the book that will rule over them
- We will do this with Him
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Psalms 2:1-12 (KJV)
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
(Revelation 19:16)
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
- There is only one of these
And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
- Outside of doves, fowls and sparrows, there are the vultures, predatory birds, etc. which the Jews were commanded not to eat, and they
- This a fulfillment of prophecy
And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
(Revelation 19:19)
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
- This is the highest form of stupidity, willful blindness, foolishness, desperation, deception!
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
- Imagine the multitude who watch this and were convinced they were a real prophet of the real god.
- Taken "without Hand!"
And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
(Revelation 19:21)
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
- This is the end of mankind under satanic rule on earth, forever.
- They are killed by Jesus saying so, no weapons, nothing needed.
- This shows how frail our lives are, hanging in the balance, until He calls us home.
